Saif and Kareena’s Valentine’s Day Plan

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor has decided to spend their valentine's day in Europe. Since they are very busy with their work, they hardly get time for each other, so keeping work aside; they have decided to enjoy the day. Kareena will first fly to Paris to shoot a commercial, and then proceed to their holiday spot, to be joined there by Saif. However, the two will come back to Mumbai soon after instead of having an elaborate holiday.

Sunny Deol Set to Make People Laugh

Macho man Sunny Deol is set to make people laugh. And he will do it with Yamla, Pagla, Deewana, also starring his dad Dharmendra and brother Bobby. After Apne, he was supposed to do Cheers - Celebrate Life first, but he has pushed the project to a later date. Sunny is also contemplating new banner names to present the film, which will be directed by Samir Karnik. The female lead for the movie hasn't been finalised yet.

Amrita Arora gave birth to a healthy baby boy on Friday morning. It's celebration time for her and hubby Shakeel Ladakh. At the hospital with her was her husband Shakeel and her family members. First to congratulate them on the twitterverse was Ritesh Deshmukh "Congratulations AMU(amrita arora) n Shakeel.Its a beautiful baby BOY." Priyanka Chopra, tweeted "Congratulations to Amu (Amrita Arora) who delivered a healthy and beautiful Baby Boy may he be blessed always!"

Urvashi Sharma hasn't been seen in a film for a while now. Apparently, she's dating gutka king Jagdish Joshi's son, Sachin Joshi. According to sources, Urvashi and Sachin met at a party and got along since then. Their friendship blossomed into a relationship just recently. Both of them are trying their best to keep their relationship away from the media glare. Urvashi was earlier reportedly dating ad film director Bipin Deore and was also said to be in love with Harman Baweja.

Emraan Hashmi Becomes a Proud Father

Emraan Hashmi, 30, became a father after his wife Parveen gave birth to a baby. The kid is said to be in a healthy condition and has been named Ayaan. He broke the news on his Twitter page. "My baby boy Ayaan made a grand entrance yesterday," Emraan wrote, adding that he's so joyous that the baby's arrival still hasn't sunk in fully.

Katrina Kaif Arrives Fashionably Late for Award

Katrina Kaif Wednesday arrived fashionably late at an event to collect an award for excellence in performing arts. She was invited to collect her pending award for excellence in performing arts 2009 by the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (Assocham). She could not take it last year as she was unwell that time. According to a source present at the function, flight delay was the reason for her delay, Swati Piramal, Assoham president, had a different story to fill in the media with, before Katrina's arrival. She tried to make up by apologising for the delay.

Shahrukh-Gauri Love Story to be Told in Film

According to filmmaker Karan Johar, the love story of Shahrukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan has all the drama, romance and struggle to make for a gripping love story on celluloid. He does plan to make a movie on his best buddy's love story someday. He also added that he would probably make the film many years from now when SRK's son Aryan has grown up enough to play his dad's role.

Abhishek Bachchan Enjoys 'Bingo' Than Acting

Abhishek Bachchan has taken a fancy to anchoring and says it is more enjoyable than acting after his debut TV show National Bingo Night. "Anchoring is easier because in acting there are so many other things that come into play," he said. Slamming reports that the show is 'boring', he says he is looking forward to a second season. "As of now I am only doing Bingo. It's a 13-episode season after which if Colors (the channel that airs the show) renews it, we'll come back with season II," he said. Bingo opened Jan 23 with a TRP of 5.1, the highest for a Bollywood-anchored non-fiction entertainment show since 2008, according to Television Audience Measurement (TAM).

Who's The Dad of Padma Lakshmi's Baby?

Padma Lakshmi has been mum about the identity of the dad of the child she's carrying ever since she became pregnant in October last year, but she has suggested that B-school teacher Adam Dell could be the kid's dad. Adam Dell, a 40-year-old teacher, is the younger brother of billionaire computer maker Michael Dell. Padma and Adam were first spotted nearly two years ago at the South Beach Wine & Food Festival. However, reports say the dad could also be corporate honcho Teddy Forstmann with whom she's been linked. She was hospitalized recently for five days because of pregnancy complications and Teddy was reportedly by her side.

A R. Rahman Wins Double Grammys

Indians went Jai Ho once again Monday when music maestro A.R. Rahman scored a double triumph at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, a year after bagging two Oscars for his foot tapping music for Slumdog Millionaire. He bagged the best compilation soundtrack for a motion picture and another one for Jai Ho for the best motion picture song. His talent first came to the fore with Roja in 1992, and there has been no looking back since for the him.

'Striker' to Premiere Globally on YouTube

Striker will be the first Bollywood feature to be premiered on YouTube, day and date with its Indian theatrical release on February 5, 2010. By releasing this film on YouTube, Studio18 will offer Bollywood fans outside of India a high quality and on demand option for watching the latest Bollywood film. In the US, Striker will be available for rent on YouTube. Outside the US, Striker will be available for free on Studio18's YouTube channel. In order to ensure that the revenues from the Indian theatrical release are maximised, the movie will be not be available for the YouTube traffic originating from India. Watch "Rann", Amitabh Urges Media

While Amitabh Bachchan, 67, latest outing Rann has been touted as an anti-media film, he maintains otherwise. He has urged the fourth estate to watch the film and decide for themselves. Clad in a maroon velevet bandgala, Bachchan, who was here for the red carpet premiere of the movie, insisted the film is a pro-media drama. Co-produced by Madhu Mantena and Sheetal Talwar, Rann also stars Paresh Rawal in a pivotal role.

Kobe Bryant Gifts Ranbir Kapoor His Favourite Sneakers

Three-time National Basketball Association (NBA) star Kobe Bryant gifted one of his favourite pair of sneakers to Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor. He received a warm welcome from Bryant, who gifted his sneakers after a game against the New York Knicks Jan 22, said a press release. Preity Zinta had a harrowing experience when she got stuck for 10 minutes in one at Delhi airport recently. Finally she had to climb the wall and jump over. Revealing that the door of the toilet got jammed, Preity added that being a tomboy certainly did help. However, Preity did hurt her arm while scrambling out of the toilet.

'Veer' Not Going Strong at Box Office

Salman Khan's much ambitious period drama Veer has fallen flat at the box office despite having an extended weekend for business. Released Friday, the film was a solo release, but has failed to attract masses. Made at a budget of around Rs.44 crore, (Rs.440 million) Veer has been directed by Anil Sharma and marks the big screen debut of Zarine Khan, who is said to have a close resemblance to Salman's actress girlfriend Katrina Kaif. Yogesh Raizada, corporate head (cinemas) of Wave Cinemas said, "Now that we have an extended weekend due to Republic Day, may be it gets some footfalls as people don't have any other movie to watch." Piyush Raizada, director of Delite Cinema that upgraded itself into a two-screener, however, claims that movie is doing a good business.
